Fair City - RTÉ Drama
MovieExtras.ie exclusively supplies all the extras and special extras for RTE's award winning soap opera - Fair City. The home grown sopa runs five days a week and is viewed by over 500,000 people.
The Tudors - Showtime & TV3
Starring our very own Jonathan Rhys Myers. The Tudors is in its fourth and final series. based in Ardmore Studios filming will continue until the Autumn. It attracts over 1 million viewers in the US and is shown on TV3.
Pure Mule - RTÉ ComedyThe acclaimed RTÉ drama 'Pure Mule' is returning. Written by Eugene O'Brien, directed by Declan Recks and produced by Accomplice TV, 'Pure Mule: The Last Weekend' is now shooting in and around Birr, Co Offaly.
Guinness ‘To Arthur' - Advert
The ‘To Arthur’ advert is Guinness’s first ever global advertising campaign which forms part of its 250th anniversary celebrations . The opening scenes are filmed in Ireland with our members.
Three Broadband - AdvertThe current Three Broadband advert (the one with the couple dancing) featured two of our members, who were each paid a significant sum for their work, and they were even chauffeur driven to Galway!
O2 Blueroom.ie - Advert
The darkened inners of the O2 were overtaken by our members to bring the old Point to life, Florence and the Machine providing the atmosphere with Cosmic Love.
SKY Sports Golf Show - Presenter
Nikki Kavanagh is the new face of the golf show on SKY Sports. This show is available throughout Europe with a potential audience of 200 million! The company used MovieExtras.ie exclusively to find their new presenter.
Samsung - Promo & Viral Mail
Yes, that's Ireland's Tommy Bowe in the midst of our members wearing the latest red fashion. Over 200 members took part in a flash mob event on Grafton Street as well as a viral mail all in the interests of art!
Crimecall - RTÉ Current Affairs
OK, maybe you never saw yourself as a muderer, armed robber or even a victim of a serious assult, well our members can see themselves doing very nasty crimes and being on the receving end of such crimes in the reconstructions for RTE's very popular crime fighting programme.
The Take - SKY Drama
Set in the East End of London (well filmed in Dublin), The Take is a gripping family drama set in the crimian underworld spanning ten years from the height of Thatcherism to the birth of New Labour.
Primetime - RTÉ Current Affairs
Topical current affairs program presented by Mark Little & Keelin Shanley. Many of our members have been gangsters, rogue traders, nasty doctors and various other not very nice people who roam the streets of Ireland!
RAW - RTÉ Drama
Set in a thriving Dublin restaurant, RAW follows the lives, loves and traumas of the staff. This is the 2nd series of RTÉ’s successful drama that we have supplied all the extras. Over 200,000 tuned in to watch the raunchy drama.
Bittersweet - RTÉ Drama
Tells the story of re-united Dublin friends. Three very different worlds, three very different women - but everything in common. It celebrates their lives and loves. Everything's looking rosy - until reality bites...
Happy Ever Afters - Film
Stephen Burke's debut film was sot on location in Bray and Wicklow. Stars Sally Hawkins, Tom Riley, Eamonn Hunt and Simon Delaney. Two wedding parties inadvertantly meet leading to a mix of Dallas meets the X Factor.
Anseo - TG4 Drama
Charlie McCarthy (On Home Ground) helms this drama which tells the story of civil servant Setanta de Paor who is the guardian of the Irish language but is about to become lost in translation with a savagely tightened public purse - and his only hope a parrot called Mairtin O'Cadhain.
ONCE - Film
One of the very best productions to come out of Ireland, Oscar winning, ONCE, was filmed in Dublin. Glen Hansard and Marketa Irglava wrote and performed all the music. Apart from these stars most of the other artists were our members. One to buy!
Winning Streak - TVWhile our members did not win millions on the show, but they can see themselves in the opening title sequence.
Podge & Rodge - RTÉ ComedyYes, the puppets from hell! Or maybe heaven...not only have our members being in the audience, but they have let themselves be riducalued at the hands of the puppets, sometimes wearing very little to the imagination!
Badly Drawn Roy –Film
Yes that's right, our members starred alongside Roy, a cartoon character! This is actually the second time that our members have starred in a cartoon. The full length feature film is In post at the moment, but should be a great film to watch when it is released.
George Gently – BBC Drama
BBC Crime drama, set in the 1960s, about an old-school detective trying to come to terms with a time when the lines between the police and criminals have become blurred.
The Invisibles – BBC Comedy
The Invisibles was produced by Company Pictures (Elizabeth 1, Shameless) for BBC. This joint filming took place in Northern Ireland and Ireland.
PS I Love You - Film
Buy a new outfit. Be a disco diva. Learn to fish. Take a chance....yes our ex Taoiseach's daughters, Cecilia Ahern's bestseller comes to life on the streets of Dublin. Starring Hilary Swank and Gerard Butler.
League of Gentlemen - BBC Comedy
This cult prodcution began ten years ago when BBC2 aired the first series, now after several productions including radio and TV, the film of this comedy / horror (or a horedy) is avalible. It was shot all around Ireland, stars Mark Gatiss and Steve Pemberton.
Home Run - RTÉ Comedy
In a brand new gameshow, 2FM presenters Colm & Jim Jim, give away the cash with some lucky particpants walking away with €5,000. Members were both in the audience and were particpants.
Rock Rivals - ITV & TV3 Drama
This glossy drama focuses upon the superficial world of a TV talent show, with Michelle Collins playing the panel judge Karina Faith, and Sean Gallagher playing her husband and fellow judge, Mal Faith.
The Front Line - Film
With an IFTA nomination and receiving 1st place at the Salerno Film Festivan and 2nd palce at the Emden Film Festival, The Front Line stars James Frain (The Tudors) and Eriq Ebouaney (The Kingdom of Heaven). Shot on location around Ireland.
Breakfast in Pluto - Film
Starring our very own Cillian Murphy, Eva Birthistle and Liam Neeson, this dark comedy features Killian as a transgender orphan searching for love and her long lost mother in a small town in Ireland and London in the 1970's. Nominated for a Golden Globe.
Northanger Abbey - Film
Nominated for an IFTA, Northanger Abbey, starring Geraldine James and Michael Judd, was shot on location around Ireland, turning our streets into 18th century cobble stoned heavens brimming with ladies swaning around in very fine costumes.
Tigers Tail - Film
Starring Brendan Gleeson and Sex and The City star, Kim Cattrall, Tigers Tail was shot in Dublin and Wicklo. It was nominated for five IFTA's and walked away with a well deserved two trophies.
