Support Centre – Tax: Register your Employment

If you have had a previous PAYE job or have another current PAYE job, then we will request that Revenue register/re-register your employment with us.

You will need to keep an eye on your MyAccount profile on Revenue.ie for the new employment in case you need to add on tax credits, or a tax cut off point to this employment.

If this is your first PAYE Employment, then we need you to indicate to the Revenue that you are working for us. If you do not register us as an employer, we cannot process your payroll records.

Instructions - Registration with Revenue (MyAccount):

If you are not signed up to MyAccount please do so as soon as possible. Read this page for information on registering with Register for myAccount

Adding us as an Employer:

Once you have registered for MyAccount and If this is your first PAYE Employment, then we need you to indicate to the Revenue that you are working for us.  If you do not register us as an employer, we cannot process your payroll records.

In the section “Paye Services”, select “Update Job or Pension Details”. Click here to read an introduction.

When you add a “new Job”, you will be asked these questions:

Our Employer’s Tax Registration Number is: 3280809AH

Our Employer’s Name is: Crew, Cast and Performers Ltd
Your job start date is: The first date you worked for us or today’s date whichever is the oldest
You are paid: Weekly
You are not a proprietary director

Page 3 – Does this job belong in one of these industries?
No – the appropriate industry is not listed below

Divide your tax credits and rate band between your employers

Once you have registered, your PAYE situation will change from Emergency Tax to Week 1 basis. You can divide your tax credits and rate band between your employers.

If you paid emergency tax on a payment from us and wish to have a refund with your next payment for work with us please make sure revenue have put you on the cumulative basis of taxation.

Minors – Under 18 years of age
The parent/guardian will need to register the Minor’s Employment with the Revenue Commissioners.

If the Minor does not have a PPSN the parent must apply for one for the minor.

The PPSN listed on the Minor’s profile has to be the Minor’s PPSN.
