Since the introduction of PAYE Modernisation on the 1st January 2019, it is the duty of the individual to register their employment with revenue through MyAccount on revenue.ie. Here are the instructions of how register with Revenue’s MyAccount.

If you are not signed up to MyAccount please do so as soon as possible. Read this page for information on registering with Revenue.ie MyAccount:
Once you have registered for MyAccount you need to add us as an Employer. In the section “Paye Services”, select “Update Job or Pension Details”. Click here to read an introduction.
When you add a “new Job”, you will be asked these questions:
Page 1 – What is the employer’s tax registration no?
Our Employer’s Tax Registration Number is: 3280809AH
Page 2 – Job Details
Our Employer’s Name is: Crew, Cast and Performers Ltd
Your job start date is: The first date you worked for us or today’s date whichever is the oldest
You are paid: Weekly
You are not a proprietary director
Page 3 – Does this job belong in one of these industries?
No – the appropriate industry is not listed below
Section 2 of 4
Your residency situation – answer as appropriate

Confirm the details.
Once you have registered, your PAYE situation will change from Emergency Tax to Week 1 basis. You can divide your tax credits and rate band between you employers.

Minors – Under 18 years of age
The parent/guardian will need to register the Minor’s Employment with the Revenue Commissioners.
If the Minor does not have a PPSN the parent must apply for one for the minor.
The PPSN listed on the Minor’s profile has to be the Minor’s PPSN.
