What we have been up to
Well what a busy couple of weeks for us all at MovieExtras.ie.
We are involed in no less then four major productions:
- Fair City
- Primeval
- The Last Furlong
- Trivia
Also, we have been involved with 11 castings for adverts, four castings for corporate productions, two internet adverts and four castings for critical parts in films.
As well as Crimecall and Primetime.
During the last 30 days, there were 166 logins by production comapnies and casting directors viewing 9,766 members CV's for a whole range of productions.
MovieExtras.ie - a scary insight into the office
OK, so you have known MovieExtras.ie for the past couple of years, and we hope that you see us as a professional and well managed business (and mature).
But then again maybe there is a different side to us. Well check out the following link with Claudine, our Casting Director and Lynda who looks after the payroll. Maybe we are not as mature as one would think.......

Lap dancer / Pole dancer
We need a person who has been a lap dancer or pole dancer (in a club) for a new production. If you know of anyone send an email with name, age and expereince.
Photoshoot Saturday June 12th - Westbury Hotel
Our next photoshoot is on Saturday June 12th in the Westbury Hotel. So if you want to be involved with Fair City, Primeval or the many other productions that our members are involved with you can register on the day or pop in to have a chat.
If you prepay you will receive extra photos for free worth €50.
Ireland's Film & TV Extras Awards
About time, us who prop up the background get noticed. So we are launching Ireland's Film & TV Extras Awards. It is early days, but we want to hear from you. There will be lots of prizes and awards up for grabs.
So lets hear from you

- Those who have served over 25 years being an extra
- Being an extra on the most amount of Film / TV productions
