Well what a busy busy couple of weeks this is proving to be.

Last week, our members started on a new production through our directory service - The Last Furlong directed by Agnes Merlet. Shooting will continue for the next couple of months in Wicklow and Meath. We still need boys aged 11 to 16 for this and an actors double aged 11 and 4 foot 8 in height. Preference will be given to members (easier to cast from the site)

Then we had two auditions for corporate gigs. One for a Government Department and the other for a bank. And a reconstruction for a new RTE production, as well as providing members to Crimecall and Primetime.

Also, we had to find a 16 year old who will star alongside a very famous actor in a film. By the way, thanks to everyone who sent in their headshots, I think we have found someone suitable.

Today, we start on a new film which will be shooting in Kildare starting next week and lasting for six weeks.

And later on this month, we will have some really big weeks on Fair City.

Over the past 30 days, there were over 90 logins by 26 production companies / casting directors.

Our next photoshoot is on this Saturday May 8th in the Westbury Hotel. So if you want to be involved with Fair City, Primeval or the many other productions that our members are involved with you can register on the day or pop in to have a chat.

Finally on a sad note, we were all deeply shocked and saddened to learn of the death of Gerry Ryan.  While we never had the pleasure to work directly work with Gerry, we have worked with many of his friends and colleagues at RTE. The thoughts and prayers of all our staff are with his family, friends and colleagues at this time.
