Accounts & Payroll Assistant

Opportunity

We are looking for an efficient self starter to work in our busy office based in Bray, County Wicklow.

The job will involve the following main tasks:

- Processing weekly and monthly payroll for about 500 people per week

- Completing payroll related forms (Social Welfare & Revenue)

- Dealing with payroll queries from employees, clients, DSP and Revenue.

- Accounts receivable: Invoice preparation, Debtors Ledger maintenance and credit control

- Accounts payable: Purchase Invoice authorisation, Creditors Ledger maintenance and payments

- Bank and on-line receipts and payments recording

- Creating monthly reports for accountant

- Creating ad-hoc reports for management

 

Skills

- Experience and knowledge of payroll and book-keeping processes

- Strong experience and knowledge of Excel is essential

- Excellent organisational skills

- Excellent attention to detail

- Highly motivated individual

 

Salary

Depending on experience

 

Hours

25 Hours per week
Start time - flexible between 9am to 10am
Mon - Fri, plus one Saturday a month
