We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Social Media & Business Development Executive to join MovieExtras.ie, Ireland’s leading agency for Film & TV opportunities and be involved in other businesses including a AI Platform startup.

We’re extremely busy with new productions starting soon, so we’re looking for someone who can hit the ground running and take ownership of marketing activity across multiple businesses.

What you’ll be involved with

Social Media & Content

• Managing and updating multiple social media accounts (posts, stories, reels, short-form video)
• Creating blogs, newsletters and website content to drive traffic and conversions
• Content calendars, community engagement and performance reporting

Online Marketing & Growth

• Social media strategy development and implementation
• SEO (on-page + content-led SEO), keyword research, and basic site optimisation
• Running and optimising campaigns (Google Ads / Meta Ads where appropriate)
• Email campaigns
• Tracking performance and improving conversion (landing pages, CTAs, lead capture)

Business Development

• Supporting growth plans across the business portfolio
• Outreach, partnerships and lead generation (especially for FundraisingSolutions.co and B2B opportunities)
• Helping to build scalable systems for sales/marketing pipelines

Communication Strategy

• Working directly with the Director to support strategy creation and implementation across all channels
• Coordinating messaging across brands so communications are consistent and effective

AI-enabled execution (required)

• Using AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT/Claude/Canva AI, etc.) to speed up content creation, research, draft campaigns, improve copy, summarise insights and build repeatable workflows
• Ability to craft clear prompts, refine outputs, and maintain brand voice and accuracy
• Interest in how AI can improve marketing, operations, and customer experience

Supporting sister companies & new ventures

• Assisting across the group including MovieExtras.ie, FundraisingSolutions.co, SweetToothHampers.ie, ToyHampers.ie, and new ventures in development including an AI startup platform

FundraisingSolutions.co & Hamper Businesses

We operate and build additional businesses across fundraising and e-commerce gifting. This role provides hands-on experience in growing multiple brands and helping to launch new products and services.

Essential Skills

• Strong commercial awareness and ability to think in terms of growth and results
• Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage multiple projects
• Strong written communication skills (web + social copy)
• Target-driven approach and ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Comfortable using AI tools in day-to-day work to increase output and quality
• A proactive, problem-solving mindset

Desirable

• SEO experience (or strong interest in content-led SEO)
• Paid ads experience (Google/Meta)
• Experience across multiple brands, or in a fast-moving SME/startup environment
• Basic design skills (Canva or similar)

Candidate Profile

Enthusiastic, self-motivated and results-driven, with experience in social media/marketing, business development or sales. You should be comfortable switching between brands and tasks while maintaining quality and consistency.

Job Type

Monday to Friday (flexibility is important). You may be required for a Saturday once a month to assist with our monthly photoshoots. Option to work 2 days remotely after settling in period. Location - mainly in Bray and possibly 1 day in Ardmore Studios

Salary

Negotiable depending on experience.
