Ripper Street - Behind-the-Scenes Panel Discussion

IFTA will welcome Richard Warlow (creator/writer), Will Gould (Head of Drama at Tiger Aspect), Stephen Smallwood (producer) and Irish producers Ed Guiney & Andrew Lowe (Element Pictures) along with several of the Irish Heads of Department (including editor Una Ni Dhonghaile and production designer Mark Geraghty), for an in-depth look at the the origins and development of the series, the success of the UK/Irish co-production, turning Dublin into the ‘Victorian London’ portrayed on screen, and the challenges of filming episodic television drama. 

'Ripper Street' Season 2 airs 9pm Monday nights on BBC. 

The Irish Film & Television Academy is a not-for-profit all-Ireland organisation that promotes, encourages and rewards creative excellence in film and television. The Academy hosts over 30 events a year, including screenings, masterclasses, Q&A’s, workshops along with the annual Irish Film & Television Awards.
