We are looking for two females (60+ and 30-40) and a number of children aged 8-10 years old. As it is a student film, these roles would be unpaid.

"Bestial Ones is a family drama which follows Fiadh, a young, discontented single-mother who spends her days working as a home care nurse and her nights amongst the grit and grime of Dublin’s DIY punk scene. Fiadh shares a flat with her father Danny and troubled son Maithi. She had Maithi when she was still a teenager, and as the two grew up together they also grew apart. This rift has caused Maithi to have a closer bond with his Grandfather than his mother. Fiadh feels restless in her situation, and believes life would be better if she had her independence. An unexpected encounter with an old acquaintance offers an opportunity of escape, forcing her to choose between her child or the chance to leave everything behind and start over. The film is about love, sacrifice and learning to make the difficult decision to grow up.""
