Check List for the Night Before
Have a browse through this check-list. It may be common sense, but these have all been issues for members at one time or another.
Call Time and Location
You will be told by the coordinator where and when you are to be on set. You wrote these down when talking to your coordinator. Take these out the night before and recheck. Aim to be there 10 minutes before this time.
Directions
Make sure that you have directions to the shoot. Make sure you know how long it will take you to get to the shoot. If you are driving check with the coordinate about parking. Factor in the time to get from the car-parking to the shoot. If you are going to Ardmore studios check out the maps on their web-site to know where you are going.
Clothes / Outfits
Plan you outfit well in advance. The night before lay-out or pack what you are planning to take with you. For ladies, if you wearing heels, consider also bringing flats. These can be more comfortable for standing around in.
Wake up Call
If you are not getting up at your normal time, make sure that your alarm is set. Check it twice. Make sure it is switched on. If you have a second alarm, even on your phone, set that also. Sleeping it out can be a disaster.
Hot Water
If you have a timer on your immersion set it for your getting up time in the morning. You don't want to start the day with a cold shower.
Phone Numbers
Make sure that you have the name and phone number of your contact(s). If you are going to be late you must contact him/her. Remember, that if you are more than 10 minutes late this person will be panicking.
Breakfast
If you are planning an early start, make sure you have something in for breakfast.
Sleep
Get a good nights sleep. You will probably have a long day on set, with an early start, so make it easy for yourself and have a good nights sleep.
Prepare for the Weather
If this is an outdoor shoot, prepare for the weather. For sunny days you may need sun-screen. For rainy days you may need coats and umbrella. For cold days remember warm clothes, etc.
