Based in Ardmore Studios, in the heart of the film industry MovieExtras.ie has been supplying artists to the Industry since 2002. We have a team of 9 people who look after the various requirements.
Artists
While we do have members who are full time actors and models, most of our members are working in other jobs or taking time out and enjoy the odd day here and there on set. There is never a requirement to accept a job, you can choose.
After registering, you fill in a detailed CV, including your availability, experience, hobbies skills etc. You can upload up to four photographs.
From your perspective, this service will mean that you do not have to queue for hours to put yourself forward for a production or send in lots of CV's to production companies.
We have being involved in over 1,000 productions ranging from the big productions such as The Tudors, RAW, Rock Rivals, PS I Love You, Tigers Tail, through to lots of adverts, including ads where our members without any formal experience have got paid in excess of €3,000 for a day’s work! While this is the exception rather than the rule, you never know what might happen!

Productions
We have spent the last eight months developing some really useful tools to help you find, cast and contact the artists that you need. Whether it is extras, special extras, mid tier actors, models or even presenters, we have over 2,500 available artists to choose from.
You can search our database and contact artists for FREE! Using our text messaging and email service, you can save yourself hours and hours of time.
Or you can get us to do the leg work. Our fees are very competitive.The choice is yours.
